Default Plug Wires--->

Anyone ever used the NAPA premium 7mm wires? I am tuning up soon, and I'm using a NAPA dist cap and rotor, so I thought it would be simpler to get the wires there, too. Just want to see if they're any good, as they are about the same price as Taylor 8mm from Summit (minus shipping).

What's the deal?

Are they blue looking??, I have the same set if they are, they are nothing special i would saygo with at least a 8mm wire, I believe you can get high performance wires from NAPA, such as MSD, because my buddy did for his Ford Highboy

The picture showed gray wires...I was looking online, and they offered the premium (most $), high mileage, and H/D. The only downfall is the 7mm size...as you said, I'd rather have at least 8mm. Just wanted to see if anyone had used them. I may go with the Taylor's from Summit...I have to order some thermo-tec tape from there anyway for my CAI pipe.

They looked gray in the pic. The most $$$ ones they have online are the H/D set for $104 (8mm). The premiums are $43.49 (7mm). The online store doesn't show any MSD wires.

I have to order some thermo-tec tape for my CAI from Summit anyway, so i may just get these:

Or these:

Don't know if want to spend that much though... I'll see what NAPA has in-store when I go...

I ran MSD wires from Summit with Napa dist cap and rotor. I have another set to put on and will still run MSD wires and Napa dist cap and rotor with Champion plugs.

I run Napa Brass contact cap and rotors along with Taylor 8mm wires. With the 5 and 7 cylinder crossfire issue our trucks can have, I would not go with anything less than 8 mm. My next set will be even thicker as I am running an MSD ignition with a Blaster 2 coil.

I have to order that thermo tec tape from Summit anyway, so what about these? They are probably as good as the Jeg's ones, right? 8mm and cheaper, too...
