Tranny check valve Part#?

I'm tired of the "morning sickness" from deleting the transmission check valve after my tranny rebuild. None of the Dodge dealerships in my area seem to even know that there is a check valve in one of the transmission lines. When I was able to purchase a line with the check valve in it, the bends in the hard line were in all the wrong places (would not fit my truck).
So, I'm driving a 97 Ram 1500 2WD extended cab. Anyone know the correct part #? Or an aftermarket check valve that can be spliced into the system?
Thanks,
Kevin

Removing the valve eliminates the possibility of it causing another transmission failure.
Without it, however, the transmission fluid completely drains out of the torque convertor after a few hours. So, you have to idle in nuetral for several minutes after start-up to allow the torque convertor to refill.
