Dude, Neon, Watch Tokyo Drift. Tell me that the white dudes Monte Carlo rompin through the construction doesn't turn you on? That thing doesn't have anything but raw HP and I saw just that part of Fast and the furious, and was hooked through the whole movie. Kinda wish they had more muscle, but can't deny the Fastback 'Stang with that Nismo motor was kinda cool. Even though it's wrong, the whole premise of "built not bought" comes into serious play there. Ok, I'm going off track.

I like my plastic, but it is fraying on each end, just to caught up with the maintence/performance of the thing to care right now.
lol well I actually just saw that movie last month. But ya see, I actually didn't care for that car. To me, a nice car is nice when just the average non informed civilian can recognize greatness. Sure that car was probably very fast, but most people would look at that car and say white trash. I customize my truck for my pleasure, but on the other hand, I also go out of my way to make my truck pleasurable for the publics eyes lol. Even people who don't give a **** about vehicles or know anything about them will see my truck and notice something extra is done up about it, and that's all I care. Obviously people who know trucks will appreciate my ride, but it's the run of the mill audience is what's most exciting. That's why my biggest priority is always keeping it clean. I handwash my truck at least once a week, and have it detailed twice a year. Everything else goes after cleanliness for me.

HAHA no no I will admit it, I am one ****ed up mother****er. I have OCD to the extreme and just strive for perfection. I'm not like crazy or anything, but when it comes to my vehicle, everything has to be perfect.

My 5.9L is just sitting in peices just panting for me to come and work on her.. but im driving around with this little V6 buying "fancy headlights" Heh. I like the look of my truck a little more than how much gas it can drink. No, really I wish i could do ALL of both.. RIGHT NOW! but since i have to string it out.. i pretty much bounce back and forth. [8D]

P.S. Gas is 3.55

+ 1 01 I like my truck Clean & looking good. I will do minor mods to the engine but it will get a good dress up too. I don't want to be the fastest but I do want a sharp relaible ride.

I disagree with that. I think looks come first. I don't care how fast something is, if it aint cool looking, nobody is going to give a ****. That's why doing little subtle things for your truck and keeping it clean all the time catch the eye. And then on your own time, pick away at performance modifications. That's what I have done, got the truck looking a little custom and clean, and then have slowly picked away at getting the performance parts. Even if my truck isn't completely done performance wise, I'll always have people doing double takes to look at the truck as she goes roaring by[8D]

Well you see, I dont know about you, but I could give a rats *** about what other people think of my ride, so long as I am comfortable in it.

So your truck is ALL SHOW AND NO GO.

Sorry, I think JR is right.

Who said anything about my truck not having any go?? I said looks come first. So I did that. And now I have been focused on performance. Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Transmission. I plan to get 4.56 gears and a 52 fastman next. Then, an SCT tuner. But if your truck can't back the performance, nobody gives a ****, plain and simple. My truck will do 8.5 seconds 0-60 with 35" tires as is right now. Give me an SCT tuner, fastman throttle body, and 4.56 gears and she will be doing circles around any truck. As I said, I'm into both. Neglecting one or the other is stupid.

BS 98Dodge I got a DODGE RAM 1500 360 4x4. Big & Bad enough to go anywhere and drag 7000 lbs behind it.Over hill, dale or just plain interstate. It justs looks good when it does it. And making Fords & Chevys jealous is icing on the cake.

0-60MPH or KMH?
So looking at your sig, you bascially have a stock 5.9, with a gutted cat and a CAI.
with 35" and using stock gears (3.55 or 3.92) and you say that you can do it in 8.5sec?

I guess its got some go. Seems rather fast for so little in the performance upgrade area.
