You said you towed 6 pallets before? Your trailer is just under 4000lbs and you just said your very wet sob was 1900lbs. How does that add up to 28,000. 6(1900)+4000=12,000.

no the other guy said his sod weighed 1900lbs. Believe me or not, but I have weighed it at the truck stop, and the truck and everything weighed like 32,000lbs or somethin I think, its been a couple weeks, I know that the trailer weighed exactly 3740lbs, because I had to weigh it to get a tag for it, I figure that the truck weighed around 5,000, and then I just divided the extra by six, cause I was pullin 6 pallets.

I stopped tonight and looked at a F750, I can get a 2000 with a 300hp cat, 7 speed, air brakes, 18ft flat bed, for 13,500 I gunna try to get that truck over the next week or so.

Also I found out that the both the tranny and t-case are good, but the ring is slipping of the pinion, so I def F-ed, something up, probably broke the ring gear bolts or something I guess, gunna tear it apart next weekend.

ROFL wow. 32,000lbs or something? you midaswell hook up a 53ft reefer on the back of that and pull it around town. the most i've pulled was a 16ft car trailer with a 02 S10 and all the weight on the rear. with O/D off my lil 318 was growelin. but even in a little wet rain i could still break the tires loose. but i could still knowtice my truck wasent happy. if trucks had feelings and could talk yours would send you in to an emotional depression of haterid and guilt. you midas well get that "mini semi" and save your truck for "dayly driving" not super ram

I call shens on the whole thing.

This trailer has gotten progressivley heavier the entire thread, and the truck has stayed the same size.

Sorry, but I have to raise the bull**** flag.

Im callin bull**** as well, I just tow my wakeboard boat with my rig, and given, I do have a lot of miles on my truck, and it needs a little bit of general maintenance done, new clutch, new tranny probably, and plenty of others, but my truck is also running at 200+ k miles, and never had a new clutch put in. I would say it is doing pretty damn well, but all in all, I know that hauling my boat even pisses my truck off, and its as hearty as any 1/2 ton out there. I know a guy who was driving a dually 1 ton with 4.11 gears on it and 35" cookie cutters E rated semi truck tires, and he would have never gone for a trailer over 22k. sure his truck could probably haul UP TO 30k, but it would put a ****load of strain on that tank, let alone a little half ton short bed single cab wheelin rig, what is it, 5.2? or a 5.9? I cant remember, but his tuned turbodiesel wouldnt even like that ****.

the trailer has stayed the same size, as evidence to how heavy the trailer was here this, the trailer has two 8,000lb axles, that day I bent the back one, and also, my hitch is a class five rated for 1000lb tongue weight, I'm not sure what the frame is, but the bottom of the channel in the rear, bent down, and since that day my hitch is about 3 inches away from the bumper. You guys can say whatever you want, but I know for a fact, that the trailer weighed over 25,000lbs.

one of ya'll was sayin that they have hauled sod in the bed before, around here they wont do that unless you have a 450 or better truck, company policy, since they've broke a leafspring on a 2500 one time, man was that funny.

I know its hard to believe me, but I'm not lying, The truck scale that day said like, 32,3xx, I dont remember the exact weight, but it was a fricken lot. And for my license only to be rated for 26,000lbs who says I don't have a class A cdl, huh. How do you know I don't have a cdl.

I don't have a cdl, and I have been pulled over. The cop pulled me over in the middle of the road at a stop light, because when I tried to stop, the truck was shaken back and forth, he was like sir, I think your a little over weight, and I told him I normally pull it with a 1 ton, but it was broke down. That happened 2 days ago.

I just am confused where you are coming from. Even if you were saying 15,000 pounds, that would be insane by itself, but your talking about dumptruck loads man, you truck would not even be able to drive down the road with that amount of weight. I didn't think you were this nieve, thought you were a little more bright than this. Your truck would snap like a twig trying to tow 28,000 pounds man. I couldn't even get close to 28,000 pounds WITH our bobcat skidsteer and case excavator loaded TOGETHER on the same trailer. That load would weigh around 14-15,000 pounds, which would snap my truck right in half. You have a 1500 with the smallest half ton frame with enormous tires, there is no way your truck would even drive with that much weight, everything would self-destruct. Your truck would self destruct at 15,000 pounds, let alone at anything almost double that....I'm not being a dick, I'm just telling you that it wasn't 28,000 pounds. Those sod pallets did not weigh 4,000 pounds. A sod pallet would not weigh more than a pallet of cylinder blocks.Sod weighs over a ton if its wet....a pallet of cylinder block weighs about 3,000 pounds. I think your overestimating the weight of those sod pallets. They were probably about 2500 at the most. So as I keep saying, at that rate if they weighed 2500 pounds (which is incredible), your load would be 15,000 pounds, and your trailer weighs 3,800 pounds...so were talking 18,500 pound load at maxium estimation, and it's still coming up 10,000 short from 28,000. See my drift? The new dual wheel trucks are rated at 19,000 to tow...

How do you know I don't have a cdl.

Because nobody with a CDL would claim something so ridiculous.

But believe me a 500hp 440 in a 3/4ton truck will pull this trailer of mine. I have personally seen a guy with a 1 ton and a goosneck trailer haul 14pallets. You do the math
Has nothing to do with themotor. The 230hp360 in your 1/2 ton will pull the trailer now

There'sjust the issue of suspension, transmission, transfercase, axels, tires, brakes...
Wait till you try to go down a hill in that thing and slow down. You won't be able to because the trailer will push your truck forward and you'll probably end up jackknifing it trying not to hit anything. Or the frontend will start coming off the ground on you from the tongue weight.

Bad things happen when you try to towbig **** with little trucks.

Any way you write this whether you are lying or just that stupid be damn glad you aren't standing in front of me the is so damn dangerous that I would beat the crap out of you for driving with that much weight on the same roads other people use(including kids).

So now maybe you will shut up because either way you have lost any respect you may have ever had on this site.

Oh and I do have a class A CDL.
