Default Volant is in the house=)

Volant came in today. Course I can't even put it in yet because my truck is at the transmission shop. I absolutely love it though, it looks amazing. Has a nice blue filter that comes with it that sits inside a protected housing. Airbox goes directly into the stock fender so it draws true cold air. Came with all the hardware. I also purchased the optional scoop that goes to the front of the grille between the passenger headlight and radiator to grab more cool air. Hopefully I'll get my truck back sooner than later and I can install this. I also bought HIDs for my headlights and foglights, so waiting to put those in as well when I get it. I'm very excited that I'm finally wrapping the truck up. Even have my new sport taillights with the matching trim ready to be installed when I get my truck back. Only thing that can make it even better is if the transmission shop actually fixes the problem.

Here is a pic of the volant.

Probably does flow more, but with the colder air I'll be drawing in, most likely are equal in effectiveness. But for now I flow more than you in total until you get them longtubes on that beast=)

lol... not with the k&n open element and the M1 and straight manifolds. also not with a disabled tranny ;-)

longtubes and y will be here friday, fastman is on its way too, should be here monday.

youll see that there is no such thing as "cool" air in that engine bay. But it will look good, if thats what your goin for.

Longtubes dont effect how much air is pulled in.

Defiantly excited about the look itself. Won't be cold air, but it's also not going to be hot air with it grabbing air from the fender & grille. Either way h/p will be minimal, but it's for piece of mind. I really do want to pick that Fastman up, but I got to take a chillpill for at least or month. I just finished buying the Volant and HIDS, wasn't exactly cheap. I'll let you guys know how my experience is with the Volant in comparision to the FIPK and Airbreather. Motor, let us all know how the Fastman worked for you. Headers and Fastman, that's got to be an exciting duo for you.
