No. However, the ground harness I mentioned may be a forgone conclusion if you used sheetmetal screws on the lights instead of machine screws. If you used machine screws to attach the lights going through the cab roof, then you can easily make a ground harness to attach to the screws and ground at G302. See 8W-90-24.

 

im looking at 8w-90-24 and i still have no idea what you mean. I used sheetmetal screws and they are the grounders.

 

just pulled my headlight switch and i see a yellow wire with a thick black line and a yellow wire with a thin black line.. either one of those it? and im going to connect them with those things you put the wires in and clamp down.. that way i dont have to strip any harness wires.

 

That would be a wire tap. Use a test light or DMM to determine which wire is running lights. Guess and check isn't the best way to do things when working on electronics.

 

Nevermind. They're grounded well enough with the sheetmetal screws. BTW, the word is "grounds" not "grounders."

 

grounders is an amazing word. And its all done. I connected my lights to my parking lights and all that.. they come on when i flick my switch. Ill get pics up later. Earlier someone said that i need to go with a 20 fuse. i have a 15 in there right now. should i get a 20?

 

15A is correct. Did you wire it before or after the headlight switch? If you wired it into the parking light circuit, are you still using the rocker switch that came with the lights?

 

The yellow wire you are saying that has a thick black line, is actually a black wire with a thin yellow line, is that the one you taped in to? Because thats the one you want. And leave the 15amp fuse in there.
