A big part of it also depends on what year CTD your drivin, the later ones are pretty stout from the factory. The 89-00 or so CTD weren't nearly as gutty as the later ones, which make mountains of tq bone stock.

I pulled against my buddy yesterday and it went like I thought it would. We pulled and smoked the tires and I beat him four times. We concluded that I have more weight because of the 5th wheel and that I have better tires. It felt to me like his truck was pulling but just didn't have the traction. I guess the pull wasn't fair but it went well and we didn't snap the chain or break anything. Oh and to dude who said my torque peak is at 4500... you are wrong... it's at 2400 and the cummins is at 1600.

Here's a hint.....

I know BS when I hear it.

Those who know and do have proof of it.

As I stated much earlier in this thread, I'm only an hour and a half away from ya, so if ya REALLY wanna see what happens when you hook up to a Cummins, I'll be more than glad to show ya.

If you're gonna talk the talk, back it up.

Here's what you'd be getting yourself into......
