Default Cold Weather Cracked it, and it fell off. :(

My front air dam was already cracked, and last night it cracked some more, part of it fell off and next thing you know, it was behind me. lol Any who, does this thing help with anything, or is it just their for looks?? Is it there to maintain engine temp by redirecting air, or just looks? :OOO I do plan on replacing it tho.

If you do want to replace that, I'm pretty certain RockAuto has a better price than ebay.

I dont have one on mine. I dont think it makes much of a difference, maybe it helps with aerodynamics but it couldnt be a big change.

I think it is all up too you. If you hate the way it looks w/o one get a new one. Some trucks like iwhitne's can pull it off w/o an air damn good. But others look bad w/o it.

It doesn't make a big difference, but apparently it helps mileage. I took mine off though, I don't really like how it looks.

I was able to get my replacement one through certifit for like 23 bucks. Check them out.

As far as how they look, I think a 2 wheel looks better with and a 4 wheel looks better without. JMO Of course I have mine still on , but come spring I'm going to take it off.

I might put mine back on. Because of my leveling kit my truck is actually sitting like a pre-runner at the moment.
