Dakotas, i put a Jr kit in my 1999 46re and i like what i does. There is know big jerk just a firm shift feel. Also rebuilt trans myself with no issues. Also running Amsoil fluid for 2500 miles now and no issues. Only issue with mine was bad front bad, all else looked great for 93000 miles. Just thought i would share a little bit for what it is worth..Good Luck!!!

You don't have to replace the seperater plate, A new Transgo plate is a stock plate, you have to drill your own holes. Only replace if damaged by check *****.

Diesel has different spring tensions than a gas. If says diesel and gas, they may have both spring opptions in the kit. If that's the case it will work.

It wouldn't hurt to go ahead adjust them while you are already there.

alright, got my kit in today....i just went with the tfod-jr.........it looks a little confusing.....when its talking about my lockup, is it my tc lockup? its got the option of slightly firmer or much firmer? also, its got the option to drill a hole in a shaft for increased OD lube.......is that pretty in depth to take that out?

Yep, you have a lockup tc, you can make it firmer if you would like, I just wouldn't go to firm. Drilling the hole in the shaft, I think that's talking about if you had the trans apart and drilling the intermediate shaft, I wouldn't worry with that one. Just what ever deals with the valve body.
