2nd gen member with ankle surgery!!!
Glad you're OK, post up pics of your new foot. I always find that stuff fascinating.
Maybe they can make you one that slides into the trailer hitch when you're working in the bed, or one that clips into the go pedal!

Crazy thing is, after the surgery to remove the tumor(which was before it was known to be cancer) my foot is heeled and I have no pain and almost walking completely normal.

Zman, glad to hear things are going well all things considered. As for that wimpy comment, if I had one good foot I'd kick you in the *** with it.
The wimpy comment was just my first test, so far you passed!
And be careful, after I get the new foot I should be able to kick *** real hard with no pain to me what so ever, that is of course that it doesn't go flying off, LOL.

I really don't think too much about the pain when I ride. It is shortly after the adrenalin wears off that the pain becomes noticeable.
It sucks to see that they are still going to remove your foot, but I still don't see the point in doing so, man. If there is no cancer, you are on chemo, the foot has healed, and it doesn't give you pain to walk on it? Makes no sense.
I'm guessing they are being extremely conservative. First, you kill the cancer, then you remove the foot to prevent it from coming back. Similar to breast removal. I've ridden with this guy (I made his pic into a motivational poster I send to anyone that questions my passion for riding) and he can smoke me any day:

I guess losing a foot isn't so bad so long as it doesn't stop you from doing what you love.
