2nd gen member with ankle surgery!!!
Been doing finances for a couple days. Going to be hard to keep my house through all this. One thing about having cancer and getting your foot cut off is, I was able to get 3 credit card monthly payments down by almost 2/3's and the interest rates down to 5.9 percent and the IRS scratched my left over 700 bill from 2008, LOL Calling the mortgage co. tomorrow. They already have my arm and leg! LMAO

All the vehicles are untouchable, 98 ram, 96 bmw z3, 88 dakota express, 95 vw cabrio, 99 chev. tracker, 07 yota yaris (daughter paying as soon as she gets a job, she just graduated college) and last but not least my baby, 68 fastback.
Any updates on your situation Z?
I couldn't let you two bastards have all the damn fun.
I got out of bed this morning, and my left ankle hurt. Didn't think too much about it just thought I'd slept on the damn thing wrong. Went to the bathroom to do my morning wizz and came back and got dressed. When I got dressed, I noticed that my ankle was starting to hurt a little more. Got dressed and went and sat in the recliner just thinking I needed to let the blood get back into my foot a little more. Well, after about 30 minutes of sitting there, I noticed the pain getting worse and worse. Finally, at 2, I gave in and decided I needed to go to the ER.
We got there to see the whole place packed full of people. I had to sit for 7 hours straight in a wheel chair. I couldn't put weight on the foot, and on a scale of 1-10, for pain, I would have rared it at 8.5. Now, before you call me a pansy, when I had my right arm operated on, I considered the pain before, during and after the surgery to be .2-.5 on the same 1-10 scale.
It turns out that Gout runs in my family. Meaning there is too much protein in my diet. It makes sense since I started dieting back in spring and it was a high protein diet........
So, after 7 hours of mind numbing pain, I finally got home and have my foot in a brace.... They did give me good pillz..... Pillz that make me want to sit and stare at the ceiling for hours.
Thought I'd share, since this seems to be a growing trend for this section.... Who is next???

The diet plan did work, but I never dreamed this would have happened. Turns out that Gout runs in my family. Go figure. At least it wasn't a blood clot like what we were thinking it was... That's also a family trait. Seems I'll be laying around for the next few days.
EDIT: How do you all walk on crutches? This is a first for me. Maybe it's because of the double dose of Fyentanl and Hydrocodene, or it's just because I have no idea what I'm doing.... I look like a drunk gimp trying to get around.....

Ouch, I had a friend with that. He said it hurt like hell. Get well soon.
I have just been doing the chemo all along here. I am finding out later today when the doctor is taking the foot. Should be in 2 to 3 weeks. Before the holidays, oh well, the one foot wonder for a while, LOL

Damn, man. They're still wanting to take your foot? I'm glad I wasn't talking to you yesterday then. You might have been able to talk me into giving you mine. I was ready to kill someone I hurt so bad.
Yep, theres no other options if I want to live. Mine hurt real bad before they did the second biopsy, it must have relieved some pressure on the bones the tumor was causing. Not the kind of pain I would wish on my worst enemy.
