transmission cooling upgrade, need suggestions

Lots of folks do so. If you live in a climate where it gets rather cold, it isn't really a good idea though. Overcooling can be just as bad as overheating.

Kind of around the same subject... If I wanted to just replace my stock cooler with an aftermarket cooler, that's perfectly fine right? I'm oblivious to the whole transmission world and want to make mine last, considering its kinda new

i bypassed my rad. cooler, and i still see stupid high temps while plowing, course that probly has to do with the 33's, 3.55's, and the 8' plow. im hoping the new motor will help keep temps down...
