Question with 3 inch lift.

Question with 3 inch lift.
I have a 98 Sport 4x4. And I am looking at options of lifting it up. I only want to go 3 inchs. And I'm pretty sure I want to go through top gun customz. Now i'm just looking for personal opinion pretty much.
Option 1.- 1 ton coils up front and add a leafs in the rear. with new shocks all the way around and new lower control arms.- Are the 1 ton coils going to make the truck ride like a tin can?
Option 2.- Go with the 3 inch coil spacers and a 1 inch block in the rear. Now I dont really like the idea of stacking blocks. And i feel the front is a little too soft as it is.
Option 3.- Mix n match either spacers and add a leafs. or 1 tons and blocks.
Basically I'm just looking for opinions here, pros and cons. I'm open to anything you guys have to say. I'm 18 and can do all the work myself, I'm just looking for what you have done and if you like it over another way.
thanks

I lifted my truck with diesel/V10 coils and gained just over 3" of lift. Sure, it rides much more stiff, but the stock coils are too soft anyway (in my opinion).
For the rear I used two add-a-leafs and it leveled it off perfectly.
I went this route for the cheapness of it. If I had the money I would have just bought a kit, but this has worked well for me (have had it installed for nearly 10 years now).
You will need new shocks in the front for sure, everything else is not NEEDED (control arms, track bar lowering bracket, dropped pitman arm etc...). For proof; I am still on my factory installed track bar and tire rod ends, which is even unheard of in a stock height ram at 160k miles!!!!!

Top guns is a killer place nice people. I went with the new coils I'm glad I did I can hit speed bumps doing 30 and the front end barly dips now. The new coils where 3" taller and 2x as thick as factory. FYI You will need a 2" block. For the leafs one in each pack. The problem with the leafs are. You have to heat and undo the metal bands on the packs which you need a torutch to do. (unless someone is willing to shed some light on this. I never put there control arms in. There the same as factory. I'm pretty sure you sent me a pm on this a long time ago?

Why would you want to keep the ride factory? I like how much stiffer the new coils made my front end. Before if I hit a bump I would have to slow way down. No I can hit it at speed and the front end bearly dips now.
