I looked up the key dance and tried it 3 times. No check engine lights came on is that what I was looking for?

If you have a digital Odometer it would show PXXX (X is where there is a number) otherwise the check engine light should flash. On my previous post, where I put in key dance, I hyperlinked it to another website that helps out with it (Linked to ALLPAR).

If the check engine light never came on while the key is in Run (Not start) then the PCM has 2 problems...

1.) it may not even be connected correctly or not at all

2.) It is dead, but it would of blew the fuse before it would of destroyed the PCM.

On another note, when you mentioned the fuel problem, when you turn the key to run (Not start) the pump will prime for about 1/2 a second and pressureize the system then shut down. It will restart and stay running when the PCM see's a signal from the Crank and Cam Position Sensors (While the engine is starting / running).

The cel did come along with all the other lights when in the run position, but they all shut off like normal. I didn't check the odometer. The pump pressurizes the line like normal, but as soon as I let the pressure out it will not recharge it until I shut the key off and put it to run again.

Just tried it again it was flashing 117030 I can't remeber if that was my milage I havnt driven it in over a month. Also I had 1/4 tank 2 days ago and now the guage won't move not sure if it's because of the key dance puts the computer in a different mode or not. After shutting the key off and putting it back to run it shows 117030 solid for a few seconds then starts flashing it again if that helps.

Like I stated, the fuel pump only runs for about 1/2 a second to just prime and charge the fuel lines and rail. It will shut down after it primes and will not start back up again until you start the engine or shut it off and turn it back on. If you releave the pressure at the rail then you would have to crank a bit longer or shut the truck off then back on.

As for the Odometer flashing and the gas guage not moving, the key dance would not of caused that. I have done the key dance on several Dodge (and Chrysler) vehicles and never had that issue. It sounds like you are experiencing a loss in a ground somewhere. It could all be within the BCM (Body Control Module) instead of the PCM If I was there, I would help you out.

I would recommend stopping everything and rip it all back out and reinstall it step by step and who knows it could of been something that was missed as simple of something coming unplugged or undone.

I'm looking over the diagram. The circuit I have no power to goes to the fuel pump relay as well as the ignition switch input on the PCM. Since I have power at the dist box I'm wondering if it is the key like what was mentioned.
