It could possibly be the computer as in 1998 the computer was specific to the motor for that year, putting a 1995 motor in the truck the PCM might not recognize any of the sensors etc.... Check your wrecker for a 1995 PCM

Those issues were already cleared up in post #7. Besides, you can't put a 95 pcm in a 98 as other things like the tranny for instance, won't work correctly.

All the sensors, intake ect came off my 98 the only part off the 95 is the long block. The dealer said I need to get the comp flashed. I work full time and go to school full time and it's getting cold so I might just send it to a shop. Any fusable links in the harness? I checked the ones in the power dist center.

truck will not give me a break, Dealership called today and said the truck was ready, they said they test drove it and it was running great. I went to pick it up, it started but had a serious loss in power and no throttle responce. I figured I'd learn the computer, after starting the truck and shutting it down I went to restart it and it just cranked. I went back in handed the keys and reg over and told them to actually fix it this time I didnt even make it out of the parking lot.
