Default Trans problem

I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.2L(318) and it is in limp mode. I washed the truck after i took it off-road. I didn't wash it till a day after i went wheeling. i cleaned the terminals, changed the tp sensor, and checked the other sensors that i can see. what can it possibly be?

Describe what you mean by limp mode.
Mine went into limp mode when I didn't get the speedo gear back in right.

i don't know if this applies to your 95 or not, but my old chevy used to not shift whenever the vac line to the transmission was off or leaking.

Start checking your linkage and connectors on your tranny and t-case.

Yup, Make sure the wire didn't pop off or the connection is not corroded.
