It is very creative to say the least. (I like the emergency brake setup). I do agree more care could have been use in the construction portion.. but then again it is a mud truck after all. Don't think you need to worry about seeing it drive down the road. tks for the pic's.

There is a line between smart and I'm not sure how to describe that. None the less my exhaust welds look better than that.

the axle is a rockwell. it was used on 2.5 ton military trucks. very very strong.
the brake is called an axle brake, as opposed to wheel brakes.

hans beat me to it. he also got it right, as pinion brake.

I have seen rock crawlers that the red necks at the off road park there welds were better than that.
