im not sure how big my pipe is but i have it straight piped from the cat back and have dual 4" tips. mine is pretty loud and its the stock cat. so i imagine it would be a ton louder without the cat. right?

i would think a gutted cat would be the same as no cat. but my truck should be louder than it is. a 1 chamber flowmaster isn't far from straights

ok well is it even worth messing with the non fouler then? ik it will throw a code but my CEL is always on cause i have a output speed sensor thats bad and havent changed so it would just kick my light on right?

you can use a spark plug non fouler to "trick" the rear O2 sensor. Or buy an O2 simulator.

its still a muffler. id imagine it would make some difference

but if it wont make it run rough or anything and will only throw a code i really dont need to do it then do i?

just read ur sig. my bad. i think mine is pretty darn loud the way it is. idk maybe it isnt. its the loudest truck around my area so idk.
