Are there any 2nd gen v8 owners that haven't had to replace their plenum gasket yet? I'm just curious because it seems that everyone has had to do it at one time or another. If you haven't please post your mileage.

 

It's inevitable, happened to me around 65000.

 

agreed..mine started leaking at about 94k

 

Oh V8's and their plenum issues....

 

124,xxx no plenum replacement yet, but im sure i'll neeed one tommorow after i post this, lol

 

just replaced mine (man that EGR was a bastard)

and now it dies when i let off the throttle, dunno what could be wrong, everythings hooked up right as far as i know, it runs perfect at idle and at RPM (for 15 minutes it was running while i was burping the cooling system)

i reset the comp, could that possibly be the issue that it just needs to be run for awhile?

I just had mine checked and no leaks with 1xx,xxx miles on it.

 

well, i had my intake off at 115k and it didnt appear to have been leaking and no other signs....

 

We should be more sympathetic.
