Yes, they should have but that doesnt mean they did. Thats why i said to take the truck to a suspenion shop, a shop that does ONLY suspenion.
bad thing about taking it to the dealer's or a "fix all" shop is they specialize in EVERYTHING so the techs will go from replacing a cat to changing out a headgasket, they dont take their time to read into the problem like some one who does only suspenion would.

What parts are connected to suspension system and what's good way finding reputable alignment shop to take a look? Should the dealership tell me what place they send it to for alignment and bring it back to them?
I was thinking dealing this truck in trade after explaining the steering situation. I cannot keep driving this truck with horrible steering. Can anyone suggest how much my truck is worth?
