Pcm??????????????
YES! Very much so! The engineer should be slapped! HaHa! I need a new PCM due to other issues too... but I figured I give this a shot... Plus... I kinda wanted to prove a point. lol I did mine a bit different from yours. tho... I got connector from an old 89 D100. The R296 voltage regulator and some 12 and 14 gauge wire. I mounted the VR on the passenger top wheel well... Found the terminals on the back of the alternator for the green and blue lead wires. There are two of these side by side. I think the are like 7mm or something like that.... Takes a multimeter to test for the right one if you do not have a schematic or know which is which... The terminal closest to the passenger side is the one for the green lead. Ran the green lead directly to the terminal on the back of the alt. The other terminal is obviously the blue lead. The blue lead I put straight to the blue terminlal. Then another wire from the blue terminal and spliced it into the fuel pump relay in the bottom of the relay box. This makes it a fused or relayed link... Plus it only comes on when the key is on... Works like magic!
EDIT: This also can make you worry less about your battery being drained unexpectedly if your out in the middle of nowhere....

I doubt it. It is the torque converter clutch solenoid (lockup) or trans temp sensor. niether one has anything to do with throttle response. I have an extra plug from the wiring harness that is hanging down by my tranny and I think I had a temp sensor down there in a line long ago but it got removed by someone and that is what is throwing the code. My lockup works fine so I dont think it is that.
If someone didnt tell you already 12 is "battery has been disconnected within 50 starts".

The lockup is in the torque converter. It trys to get a 1:1 ratio with the motor for cruising. Run your truck up to highway speed with OD locked out. It will shift through all three gears then when you are cruising the RPM's will drop agian = lockup engaging. If it is working it isn't your problem. I am not sure where the temp sensor is on our 46RH's. I did not see it on my valve body or anywhere else in my tranny. I had a sensor mounting pod on my old tranny lines that was plugged. I assume thats where the sensor was.
