Yep, rockers are fine, I was able to pull them apart.

THe only problem was that I realized that I dont have a 3/8'' foot pound torque wrench to put the damn things in!!!

I got the intake manifold assembled and ready to go. The plate I made is perfect!

Whenever I get done writing them (It)!

BTW the truck runs amazingly good!!! This is the best it has ran since we got it 60,000 miles ago! It is just so smooth, like butter. No annoying sucking or grinding noises, just POWER! It doesnt drop out of overdrive anymore or bog down going down hilly roads at 40 mph. Although we really havent opened it up, because we want the computer to re-program itself and to break in the rockers, but it is there! The exhaust has a nice rumble, too. Sounds like we put a little cam in there (Which is what the 1.7s are sopposed to do). Just need to get a Flowmaster 50 Series (I like the way those sound) and a factory tailpipe.

I did have one problem, though. The injector on cylinder #3 started to leak and cause a misfire. I need to fix that tommorow.

Look at how much further the 1.7s open the valve over the 1.6s:

Thats what I said when I first rotated the crank! I think new beehive springs, hardened pushrods, and lifters might be next. (Damn, why didnt I get new lifters now!)

Although next on my list is new tires, and Ford Pink Top injectors!
