Default i got my lowend back YAY! pic's inside

It's amazing what a trans flush and filter will do. Iv got my lowend back now so my next project is going to be the plenum.

Heres the pic's

Old filter was caped with all kinds of crap.

Fluid wasnt as bad as i would have expected.

A lil bit of metal shavings in the bottom of the pan, kinda worrys me a little bit and the magnet was COVERED in crud.

Pan all cleaned up and new gasket installed, originally it had a cork gasket which was a royal pain in the *** to get off, took me 30 min to take it off with a scraper.

New filter installed.

Tool's and parts needed

1/2 socket - Free on hand

One trans filter and gasket kit - $7.99

One gallon of ATF-4 trans fluid - $11.99

total with taxes was around $20.99

Time invested roughly an hour.

Regaining my lowend torque, Priceless!

Yak that fluid looks plenty dirty. Glad you got it changed!

Those metal shavings on the magnet are nothing to worry about. That is what the magnet is there in there for in the first place

I got my WIX 58613 filter from O'Reillys for $15. Plus another $5 for my external filter, and $20 for 5 quarts of Coastal ATF+4 ($4/qt).

Awesome man! you didnt tell me you got the job, i knew you applied but didnt know they called you back.

I also applied today for a part time at the autozone i always goto, the manager tracy said they are hiring like crazy because they cant keep help around and they are extremely under staffed. I would like to work there for the discount and also because it's only 2 blocks away from my house lol
