Talking New bumper any idea lets see some pictures

So basically my black 97 ext cab is looking a little boring and i really want a new bumper. I was thinking http://www.buckstop.biz/dodge02.html or www.toughcountry.com anybody have any idea where else would work or where you got yours?

buckstop doesn't seem to have anything to do with trucks at all..... and the tough country front bumpers....... 900 to almost 2 grand for a bumper?? I could pick up a whole 'nother truck for that kind of money.

If you have the money for tough country, then go for it. I put together one with reasonable parts (not everything I would want on a front bumper) and it came out to just about $2000. That'll never happen

i got my brush guard off of craigslist for only $45.
i then bought spray on bed liner for $6.
Semi-gloss black spray paint $2

it now looks like a $2-300 bumper

I helped build this one about a year ago. Such a trooper of a bumper. The owner landed it on the skid plate at about 60mph when coming off some whoops and it didn't even bend. The skidplate had a small dent, and thats it. Good stuff!

And the cheapest one from them is almost as much as I paid for my truck...... Seriously.... Folks build engines for less than what these folks want for bumpers. If you have that kind of money laying around, that you can afford to spend it on a bumper, how about sending me some?

what gets me about those "expensive" bumpers is that they don't protect the offroad lights, the lights will break before the bumper touches, then your out whatever you paid for the lights. you'd think for that kind of money they would have thought of that thats in reference to the buckstop website.
