Default Weekend project complete(RRs/plenum): Before and after pics

Well, I completed the project and I dressed her up a bit. Got the valvecovers off ebay for 100. Took me about 2 years to get them for less than 120.

Turns out I didn't fry my alternator. I missed connecting it to the wiring harness!!!

I am gonna go take her for a spin!! Coolant was flushed and refilled, so I know she idles fine. I have an ABC fire extinguisher just in case.

P.S. Still need to put in the hemifever tune. But i want to drive it a bit before that.

yup, its the fitch. Says it increases gas mileage, but it really prevents you from ever getting bad gas. You can put whatever gas you want in there and it will improve fuel quality. I have never had pinging or anything like that.

THey are not on the wrong sides...I don't think. Yeah i noticed the filler cap, but the PCV grommet was on that other side. YOu can fill oil from any cap, just be careful when you fill on a baffle side.

TOOK HER FOR A SPIN:
When you mash the pedal going 25 MPH, it is like a kick in the pants. i can't imagine what this will be like with a tune. I can tell you, if it is any better, I will not be doing anything else to this truck unless it breaks.
** mashing the pedal with the AC on is not as good as mashing it with the AC off. The AC robs A LOT MORE power than i thought, I was testing that on the highway**

I need to retorque the valvecovers. Noticed a couple drops of oil on the driver front breather. Not sure how it got there though. No oil anywhere else. I am letting her sit and see if anything pools. Oil pressure was very good. about 35-35 coasting with foot off the gas, and 50-55 with the gas on.
