I run 4.56s with 37s, but I also have a strong engine. And the 4.56s with the 37s has got to be the reason I get ok mileage.

To the OP: What are you running yoru tire pressures at because I watched the videos about 15 times each and I think I see tire wrapping followed by a bounce...this in itself could be confusing your locker as it is changing the loading characteristics. I think you would be a great candidate to run a E-Locker in the rear, I can't kill mine by "conventional" means.

Looks to me like he has more rubber on the road, hence, better traction than you...... while you were spinning, he was just walking you backwards.

I think a street tread tire would actually be more effective in that type of competition, would it not?

Love your truck......

Those tires that them guys use are nitto light truck tires. I think the same design is used for a drifting tire, if i remember right. It seems that they work great at that pad but on a rough style pad or Brushed, they are just like any other tire.

Electronic locker. Flip a switch, and the differential is locked. Flip it the other way, and you have an open differential.

Ah, the wonders of modern technology.

That's what I assume the "E" stood for. Thanks for confirming. Now, the next question:

Where can I get one and, who makes top quality ones? I'm looking to put them in this week before I head back to the east coast so, I want to put in something that's going to last.

Thanks,

CM

EDIT: Looks like Eaton also make those as well: http://www.eaton.com/EatonCom/Produc...iteId=EatonCom
