Eaton seems to be a well known, and accepted brand. Not sure where you are at right at the moment, so, check out THIS page, give it your info, and you should be able to come up with something.

It would the dreaded 4-wheel parts out in So Cal. I've got a mechanic friend of mine who, already stated that he can get Eaton and Aubrey diffs. I'm going to hit him up in the am and get the ball rolling on these. They work on electromagnetic principal which, is very reliable. I can see this working out for me over a high maintenance unit or something is going to fail over time.

Thanks again,

CM

there's only one major problem - as far as i know, none of the selectable lockers are available for the chrylser 9.25 rear end in the 1500.

Well, if it's not one thing, it's another. There's always some constraint to foul things up. So, the question is:

Is there some other manufacturer that makes one that does fit Dodge 9.25?

nope.
no selectables.
detroit and powertrax-types are the only full times, and the powertrax-type lunchbox would NEVER hold up to severe duty.

to get more differential choices you'll have to swap in a dana 60, or buy a 2500, then you get lots of choices.

If I am reading this right, ARB makes an air locker for the 9.25 axles......

I just looked at that. Looks like it may indeed work. Thanks for that link.

be careful. our rear axles are 31 spline. the ARB application guide shows a 1500 9.25 with a 27 and 29 spline, but no 31. something's not right.
