I would bypass the tcm if you don't need it, I don't know why you would. You might be able to get a decent manual out of a 2500 Ram with the Hemi. I agree a manual is what you need for a jeep maybe look at the jeep forum and see what they are running behind their Hemis.

That's a good Idea. With this trans being a 4x4 I'm going to have to check the pin-outs to see how much of the Manual transmission actually operates things like the 4x4 and transmission temp, sensor . I might not be able to bypass the TCM , Completely..We'll see , I'll keep posting info for those who are doing the same thing..
There's someone else on here doing a Manual trans.swap, I'm pretty sure he said he went with a automatic ECM, but he can't keep his truck running..Maybe he knows something we don't, and can help..

I actually remember reading that Post where he says he couldn't keep it going. Maybe now it's time to convert your 04 motor to an 04 electrical system since 04 the tcm is integrated. Give you more tuning options I think long run.

I found this website just surfing around online they put a manual behind a hemi in a JK. They might be able to help

I would like to find an 04' Manual Trans for this swap, since I have an 04 4x4-computer..
The JK Hemi is an easy swap. I was studying the wiring harness on one yesterday "Service manual"-, The pin-outs are almost exactly alike, right down to the color . My problem is the whole EFI Fuel injection..I'm starting with a Jeep that's carbarated . So nothings there. I'm thinking I'm going to have to change the PDC-Dash wires- and maybe some if not all of the gauges..
I'm happy to hear the man I was talking to about that trans. is wrong , Thanks for the input Matt..

Not a problem I was talkin to a buddyand he was thinking u could get a manual in the 1500s through 08. Then when they went to the 4th gen body style u couldn't anymore because they put that stupid center console in and took out that seat. So ur automatic shifted is on that center in the 1500a

Congrats on the baby. And I envy you for even trying to do something like this.
