What did you do to the truck today. Hopefully you threw a full charge on the battery , Reset the ECM , by grounding the Pos (+) Battery wire to the frame for 30 seconds , and checked all the grounds..
Try it if you haven't already..Did you borrow the OBDII ? We'll figure this out , one way or another..You might have to start trouble shooting wires by going through my old Dakota thread .. Don't get discouraged budy "You'll get it"...

I got the obdii scanner but I haven't got a charge on the battery yet to use it. I am going to. Take it to auto zone in thé morning have them test it and see if its ok. I checked all my grounds they all were fine. I will post up as soon as I get a scan on the computer. The trans not shifting out of second is the thing I can't understand right now. Truck is getting fuel and air. I will check spark tomorrow.

So this is where I'm at as of this morning.

-Went to Auto Zone got my old battery swapped out for a new one.
-Hooked up OBD2 scanner I get ERPR message showing ( indicating there is no longer power at the vehicles DLC) indicates to check fuses and try again. No burned out fuses so I reset computer by grounding positive cable to frame while neg cable was connected.
I retry running the scanner to see if it will talk to the computer still getting the same read out.

I found a guy on CL last night parting out his 04 RAm says he will sell me his PDC and Trans cooler for $40 only problem is that he isn't around until next weekend. So we will see If it is the PDC.

I also can no longer shift the transmission it is stuck in second. I don't know if the Shifter Cable has worn out, I am assuming that it has because the shifter on the column moves but the cable at the trans doesn't. So I am unable to Start the truck because it is in second. maybe the guy will sell me his shifter cable too. Heck Maybe I will see if he will sell me his whole truck.

Hemi-Dak I find myself wishing you lived closer too. Ha ha You have been more than helpful I really appreciate it.

have you tried disconecting the lever from the trans and try to move the little shift arm at the trans itself?

The shift cable is broken I'm about 90 percent sure the shifter moves but the lever doesn't I'm thinking of pulling the pan and doing a filter change and seeing if something is caught. Its strange I know the trans is low on fluid from the cooler line breaking I think maybe that's why it wonk shift and then when I tried to shift it to move it the cable broke.

This is really a headache of a project. I'm going to name my truck Murphy's Law. Ha ha ha. Rapid do you think low fluid would affecting shifting I know it did on my old turbo 400.

which fuses did you check the ones inside the truck or the ones at your pdc? did you also check all your relays? did you do this with a test light or visually look at them to determine if they are good

The hemi only has one fuse panel. Its under hood those I checked and they were fine this is why I think the pdc is toast.
