I don't blame you DDI~ I guess if I had to pull the cam out anyway , I would replace it with a new one too.. I'm sure that will get it going and you'll finally be able to reap the rewards of all this effort.. I wish I could be there when you start it for the first time..Hope you get a video..I think a lot of people would have sold the truck after running into the problems you've had..I'd have to get a cooler and throw a party out of the back of that truck once it's going..

 

Any Update? Have you got a cam yet because there is a hemi engine in a local junkyard I could get you if you still need one.

 

I haven't yet tried to get one from one of the guys on here but he never answered me. My upstairs bath tub drain has apparently been leaking and ruined the sub floor so i have to rip out my tub replace the floor and do a lot of sheetrock so needless to say all my truck money went to paying our insurance deductible. Selling some parts off one of my dirt bikes. Then i should have the funds to get the new cam. I did get my old one ready to be pulled.

Cam on its way. I found a new manifold for cheap so i have a new one of them coming too. Hopefully i can get this thing running by the end of the year. Just found out my wife is pregnant with our second so she its wanting me to sell my truck and buy a newer crew cab. That makes a lot of sense, but man is it demotivating.

I would sell my truck only to pay off the other one. Ramingo I'm sorry i sold that engine a long time ago for 450 on craigslist.

New cam its here I will be putting it in sometime this week then I'm just waiting on the intake manifold. This thing will run before i sell it. Would love to keep it we will see how things go with the wife.

Manifold is here and I'm working the next four days. So look Saturday night for some progress updates.
