It is entirely possible that I am paranoid, and just old school... Back in the day, O-rings and such were actually rubber...... and rubber didn't take well to petroleum based lubricants. These days, however, most o-rings are viton, or, some other synthetic material, and it may not bother them in the least. I just prefer to err on the side of caution.

It feels great! I can't keep my foot of the pedal anymore..lol. For awhile, about the last 2-3 weeks, I've actually managed to stay of the pedal some and actually saw an improvement in gas milage because I wasn't stomping the pedal anymore but now....I'm back in the old habits pretty bad.
