climate control..
Has anyone else had a problem with your fan settings. I don't even know what to call it but my hi/low settings don't seem to work half the time. High always works, but low, medium, and medium high only works here and there. Do i have to replace that whole climate control unit or is there just a relay i can replace?

Ahh hah, i got it! Thanks a lot, that was getting on my nerves. I took out the resistor and it was corroded to hell. The block actually has a huge crack in it. Unless its supposed to be like that but it doesn't look normal. I used freeze off and pb blaster on it and it seems to work fine though i will get a new one anyways. It used to stop working after 1 1/2 hours of driving or so, then the next day they would kick back on after a minute.

What about this AC "issue" (not an issue, more of an imperfection):
There are 2 AC settings, one that is max AC (All the way turned to the left) and another that takes vent air (Second to left). BUT, when you go to the setting that is THIRD from the left (no little snowflake and it blows to the face and feet). If I have it on that setting, the AC still runs and the air comes out COLD. Buit it comes out hot when the thermostat is turned to heat. But cold when all the way to the coldest setting.
What can cause this?
I was thinking that it was a result of my plenum fix. I pulled the vac line, releasing the pressure when the AC settings were already on. Then reconnected the vac lines and turned it to the heat setting BEFORE i ever statred up the truck for the first time.
Basically, i changed the setting after the vac lines were relieved.
