Default Older 318 Long Tubes on a Magnum

A buddy of mine just did a motor swap on his 1st gen Ram, he has some left over long tube headers that i could have for next to nothing . His truck was a 318, and i've got a 98 Ram with the 318.... my question is will these headers off a non magnum motor bolt up (the flange looks identical to the stock manifold) and fit/clear? I dont feel like wasting the money on gaskets and bolts just to test fit and find out they dont work.

The headers look just about identical to these...

I can say, with utmost certainty, that those headers will not bolt up. There are no LONG TUBE headers that will bolt up. THey all require custom work.

Shortie headers are the only headers that will bolt up.

Doesn't Pacesetter make some longtubes for the magnum engines?

I know they wont bolt up to the stock cat/y-pipe, I'm worried about the flange to head bolting up. And by clearance, I mean firewall, frame, etc. I know I'll have to run new tubes off the headers that's pretty much a given with long tubes on anything.

yes, but these headers are CHEAP, Pacesetters are what I will do if these dont work.

Flanges should be the same, as the gaskets are the same. Just concerned about firewall/frame/starter/etc. clearance.

You get what you pay for with headers, remember that.
