I never said it would funnel air across the rad. I don't know where you got that from. All I said was that it funnel/direct air in a certain direction (towards the middle).

The fan creates a low pressure area in front of it, which the shroud contains, drawing air from in front of the radiator more evenly (than would otherwise be the case) across its entire surface area.

I would cover the drivers side of the Rad as best I could. Take as much heat out of the coolant as possible and then dissipate the rest on the passenger side.

Had a few things come up today, so the e-fan installation will happen tomorrow morning, hopefully I will be able to post the DIY and all pics the same night. Stay tuned!

I ran a pusher/puller system for about a year with no perceivable issues. The AC condenser slows a good amount of the air to the radiator, so don't expect it to help cool the antifreeze.

OK. I think I kinda get it. J415 that was one of those "Hey, wait a minute!" type questions. Sorry it was out of place.

I also have an oil cooler and trans cooler behind the A/C condenser. Do you think the pusher would help cool them aswell as make the A/C colder

It'll make the AC get cooler more quickly. I got better trans cooling by moving the pusher to the radiator and reversing the wires to make it a puller.

My old setup was a 16" puller/14" pusher. Cooled fine, but trans temps fluctuated wildly; +/- 10* from sitting at a light in traffic to driving. Driving always brought the temps down slowly.

Switched it to both fans pulling, and the temps in the trans fluid don't climb at a stop light anymore. AC doesn't get as cold as fast, but Ill take that trade off.
