If you just leave them on all the time, you'll actually expend more energy than was required to turn the mechanical fan so there's no point to installing them.

Yep those are the ones I got, just purchased off ebay instead of their website. The main reason I got these specificly because of low amp draw and superior fan quality versus all the other ones I looked at on ebay. None of the other fans are twin ball bearing looked like cheap chinese made garbage...not putting anything in but the best I can find for Betty

How did they mount up? and what is your opinion of the overall quality of the kit? Have you been running it long??

It comes with the mounting kit that goes through the radiator and attaches to the fans. These in particular looked to be higher quality than anything else I have looked at over the past 2 weeks, but won't be certain until I receive them on tuesday for the install. Will keep yall updated as they get installed

I think I may get this kit as well and just fabricate a couple of simple brackets to mount them instead of going through the fins. I just asked the seller a question about a manual over ride switch to shut them off while crossing water and blast them when mudding and crawling . I will post his response and will probably order them tomorrow. 6000cfm should keep the old girl chilly .
Well he has responded to my question and here is the exact response .......
"the system comes with an lighted led in cab rocker switch that allows you to turn the system off for exactly that water crossings and such,as far as turning them on wide open there is no need,if your truck hits the turn on temps they come on and cool you down within 1 minute, they are fully automatic be it street driving or offroading, set it and forget it."

BIGSLICK please let me know what the quality looks like when you receive them as will be ordering them as well. Thanks
