35's with the more than likely 3.55 gears will not exactly be a good combination.... unless you drive around in four low a lot.......

As for "will it fit". Maybe. They will more than likely rub at full lock, and also possibly on the rearmost part of the bumper, and probably on the plastic inner fender well in the back.

Ask your neighbor if you can test fit them, only for sure way, I know some of the Offroad edition people run 35's with minimal rubbing at full turn, so you should be in close to the same catagory

No offense 99dodge but it depends on what rims the tires are mounted on and their backspacing

It is certainly going to increase the workload on your trans..... All the calculators I have used wanted 4.56 gears with 35's, to maintain the same final drive ratio as the truck came with stock. (which, one could argue was a bit off to begin with, in the interest of fuel economy.......)

What that means is, your trans is going to get hotter. Heat kills transmissions..... the torque converters are weak to begin with, and this will put additional strain on it. Not to mention you are going to have to step on the gas pretty hard just to get the truck rolling, due to heavier tires, and the reduced final drive ratio larger diameter tires are going to inflict on you. What you have, is two factors contributing to generating a bunch more heat.

Will it unquestionably kill your trans? I don't have an answer there. But, just looking at it, going to 35's without regearing, will most certainly shorten the life of your trans.

well i got the 35's on and i have to remove my side steps/running boards because the tires rub them like crazy during a turn. after those are off i should be good.

drivability and acceleration seems to be as normal as normal can get. the tires are wicked loud and you can feel the cleats when coming to a stop but other than that theyre great.
