Well if he has had plenum troubles and/or cracked head those valves won't be sealing anymore. Pull the most troublesome head, have it magnafluxed, and then do a valve job if it is okay.

did have the 'dodge' plenum issue and I'm confident the seat is cracked, seems to be another common theme with our CH's. I have a budd on here that has an extra head so I'm looking in that direction...

Might just want to spend the coin for a better than factory replacement. Odessa sells a pair of better heads for under 600.00.... on ebay.
