hmm that is strange.... do you maybe have a caliper that is seized on, not letting the truck get any speed to shift? Does it feel like a brake is stuck on? Also, do you know if it is 4 wheel abs or just rear wheel?

Oh and welcome to df!

Check your rear speed sensor. That's where the speedometer feed comes from as well.

wow that really is weird.... if it's intermittent like that, maybe you have a short in the PCM or something, seems like it would be a computer problem to be messing up that much stuff.... Stick around, we have some realllly knowledgeable guys on here so someone surely will know something about this...

Yep, you did indeed replace the sensor in the back, but, where did you get it from? If it is still exhibiting odd behavior, that is where I would start looking....

There isn't a sensor on the trans on your truck.

i had a similar problem a couple weeks ago. my abs, brake AND engine lights all were on. i changed the abs sensor on the rear diff. and it didnt fix the problem. so i set out changing a few other sensors and nothing worked. i finally fixed it when i changed the rear abs sensor again. must have gotten a bad one the first time. got mine at o'reilly by the way. hope this info is helpful
