I have never used a torque wrench on spark plugs..... for the ones with the two layer washer, screw 'em in until the seat, then another 15 minutes. (quarter turn) For the tapered seat flavor (no washer) screw 'em in till they seat, then another five minutes. Never had a problem.
OMG LMFAO!!!!! The funniest thread I have read since farmboy was posting crap about audio equipment
Seriously dude...the plugs are easy pickins...
8 Champion Copper Plus Plugs
Antisieze
1/2 inch drive ratchet
short and long extension (short one for the two rear plugs on driver side)
5/8 spark plug socket
Boot puller tool (not really necessary though)
Good times...good times!
My 18 yr old brother just changed his plugs on his SS/T (very first tune-up) yesterday...with my guidance and tools of course
Just so you know purp, it aint supposed to do that. Might need new plugs. There's a thread about that somewhere around here...
