DON'T tug on that line that disappears into the cowl. there is a vacuum reservoir in there. if you break it you'll have to remove the wipers and the cowl - and you're going in the WRONG DIRECTION, you need to follow the vac line down to the t-case.
ps.. he fixed his seal leak, so that's a plus. he's also becoming an expert on how this stupid thing works, so he can answer the questions from here on. LOL back at you.
nevermind what? the objective of the front end project was to stop the oil seal leak and so far, no leakage, thanks to that ingenious kit
true, but somthing about it makes me want to just have the stock set up. i dont like the idea of the pull cord and what not in the truck. but hey thats just me, given posilock is better and more reliable. but most likely a roll of vac line will be the fix and ill have 4wd.
and o yea man i now know all the ins and outs of the passenger seal project as well as cad operation
alright, i found two broken vac lines near the right exhaust manifold, ones soft and ones hard, all i gotta do is supply vac to both lines and my 4wd will be workn?

One is supply, and one is probably a vent. Make sure you get 'em hooked up right, and should be golden.
The pic in here (if you have looked yet!) http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/repair/..._engagment.htm shows you the lines from the TC switch. All four are hard plastic (atleast they are on my 98 and 2000) The soft line may have something to do with the purge solenoid/charcoal canister system.
