so not to long ago i put up a bulletin about a vibration i had when id back off the gas or touch the gas 55 and above, well on the way to work today i was driving and the whole truck started vibrating like crazy and it wont stop now it comes around 40 and gets way worse at 50 and 60. now i was doing about 55 mph and put it in neutral and the vibration stayed, so please PLEASE tell me that means the transmission and transfer case are not either of the problem and its the rear axle.....i need help bad im freakin out cuz i have a brand new mega viper trans and idk what id do if that was bad....so like i said it starts around 40ish and gets worse with more speed and continues to do it even in neutral coasting...

Have you checked your u-joints and shafts?
Also, since you have a new tranny, make sure that the bolts holding your front shaft to the t-case are all in and tight.

First of all, why did you start another thread with same issue? It makes no sense. The people that replied in that one are the same people that would reply in this one. So no, the forum didn't just die out. Ask a mod to merge the two, so people don't have to give duplicate suggestions. Like I might be doing.

Now not remembering what was suggested in the other thread, have you checked the rear wheel bearings and have you pulled the cover off to see what it looks like in there?

I had the exact same thing happen to me last week. I was worried as hell that it was the trans or transfer case. Got under the truck and checked u-joints, they were tight..then it dawned on me...put it in neutral, set the parking brake and check them...sure enough the rear u-joing on the driveshaft was wobbly..changed it saturday and no more vibrations....definitly recheck those u-joints

Sounds like a pretty safe assumption to me....... This might be a good opportunity to do gears..... since I suspect you are going to need to replace the rear set anyway......
