Thats what I figured... specially because its mulitport so i was like wtf specially they sell em so expensive probably for those who don't know our trucks are multiport previous owner didnt even know how to read the codes so figures

well its a out of state vehicle and i live in california so since theres no egr and no multiple cats i have to be really good i wanted to do a 408 stroker but that wont pass

im going with a stock rebuild with a programmer high performance oil pump water pump 180 thermostat
new rings rod bearings crank bearings i guess im going with a stock cam but replaced

thinking about replacing all lifters and pushrods
cold air intake
pacesetter long tubes
and need a way to get a high flow cat
its got a flowmaster 2 chamber on it

need the heads sent out to the machine shop

i feel like im forgetting stuff

Stock heads? I wouldn't waste the money sending them to the machine shop. Just replace them with better designed units.

go to hughes. looking good so far i would rebuild mine but i broke an ear off the block so i figured why bother.
