408 stroker build
that'd be great man. really appreciate it. ill be doing it non-running like adobe described
Yep not a problem, I will do non-running for you first, then later on one running. This is for my curious side, would you put up some pics of one complete set (intake/exh) of your rocker arms and hardware.
ur right it does not rotate, i was wondering if the inside diameter of the bushing needed to be modified has i have read in some places regarding DIFFERENT builds. guess ill find out when i get my drive shaft and new bushing from hughes
im REALLY HOPING ur not telling me intake and exhaust rockers are different? I didnt mark them, nor are they factory marked so i would have no idea which is which... d*mn it!

Rockers are the same, I just wanted to if you had to double nut the studs to install them or not, you don't. I can't find the torque specs anywhere...Some forums say 50 ft lbs, that seems like a lot..Sure don't want to break one.
Thanks for the pics. 200in/lbs = 16.66ft/lbs is what the stock ones call for, I went with 25lbs and would not go above that, you don’t want to be pulling the threads out of the heads now do you. You are using a thread locking compound so why would you. Remember when using a locking compound to use the cleaner/primer with it so that it will work right. What is in your stuff for push rod guild plates and so on? You should always mark each piece that you take off and label it so you know where it came from IE each rocker from each cylder and so on. Never mix stuff up not even push rods, lifters, rockers.

It does not matter that its never been run some parts are set to spec by the part and each one maybe different from the other one. So what are you going to use for the missing parts? I am not trying to be rude here I am trying to save you some time and issues down the road. Once I have a cyld set ready, ie rockers, push-rods, piston, rings, c-rod, lifters, I never break apart that set its always the same parts for that cyld, run or not.
