Extras. You never know if you get a bad egg when buying used parts. Doesn't hurt to have options especially for the price they sold them to me for.

He is also building a 4 cylinder APU to keep in the bed, for those times when you just don't need a turbo V-10.

I was thinking more along the lines of cutting a 360 in half and welding it to the back of the v10

Well, I've pushed back the time line on building the engine right now. Stupid truck seems to just be sucking my money out of my pocket. We put 11k miles on it since October. Just last month I had to replace the other side front wheel hub (so now both are new), I still have all of my front diff parts to do the 4.56 gears in the front... haven't gotten a chance to install that crap, and now I have to do ball joints. Just last night I left the damn truck/trailer 100 miles away because the damn track bar crapped out on it. New track bar is here, just gotta make it down there to swap it in and get it home. Also did new rear brakes (1 ton dually chevy rear wheel cylinders, hardware, and shoes). I guess I adjusted the shoes too tight, so they are dragging. Fantastic . I've been shopping for a newer Ram dually Diesel. This truck is going to put me in my grave.
