Just buy the entire assembly. Comes with everything, including the sending unit for the gas gauge.

Stupid question, but did you check the new plug wires, and make sure they arent crossfiring? Dodge has a tsb on that. Simple check, before you tear into the pump.

Anyone able to find a good one new for less than $200? As for the pickup, I agree, just get a new complete unit. If you look at the pump, you will see that there is no real way to replace part of it.

Bjcomm96, did you notice any improvement in performance as well, or just the resolution to the driveability related to the fuel level?

well that sucks, im going to drop $350 for an OEM unit, when my pump itself is probably still good way to go chrysler engineers...

This would show itself all the time, and wouldn't be at all related to the level of the fuel.

is it true that a replacement pump from advance or napa would be noisy and of poor quality when compared to an OEM unit. which should i buy?

I bought one of the lifetime warranty fellers from Advance. It isn't noisy, and seems to work just fine.

its coming along nicely, the heads are on, all thats left really is the intake, pushrods, lifters and rockers.
