My oil pan is so badly rusted that it has numerous pin holes and is leaking badly. I thought the front seal or rear main was leaking, but that is not the case. I am inquiring to someone here about getting a factory replacement. However, I was just wondering if there was something better then the OEM or a Spectre(which is all I see for replacement online) . And if anyone had any ideas of some kind of coating to put on it, IE rhino liner or undercoating..
http://www.milodon.com/oil-pans/off-...pans-chrys.asp gawd dang it fill out your fricking sig and search already j/k.... would this work? or grind the paint off and use good ole JB WELD, junkyard if not punctured, or tack weld away....
Nope, not even duct tape is going to work. LOL It's so bad in some spots, that if I push my finger hard enough it would without a doubt go right through. I saw this coming last couple oil changes, and should have gotten a new pan by now .
WOW!! $311.89 for a oil pan plus the extras you gotta get with it , are the oil pans the same for the LA block and magnums? which pan is the milodon for? way to much for me either way
Hughes engines has a new oil pan for $100... and somebody makes a coating for fuel tanks that could work to coat the inside...I think its called "lizard skin"
