well im looking at them on EBAY and I see there are some different ones, not sure which I have? I have an 01 1500 with the audio controls in the steering wheel and fully loaded, both ads claim to be fully loaded with auto controls and are different part #s and ones AG and the other is AD

Call the dealer, get the part number you need, so you are SURE you are getting the correct one.

I said that earlier. Funny thing... it's been making noise since I put it in, made more noise after I fumbled around in the column installing my remote start last thursday. Made noise again as usual on my way home from my buddys. Woke up this morning and decided i was going to replace it. Ran to autozone to rent the steering wheel puller and take a guess what happened. never made a peep on my way down there or on my way back. Don't know what to tell you man. 3 months break in? hahaha. i still rented the puller just in case, but figure it won't start making noise again until i return the puller. I called dodge today for mine and they want 300+ for a oem clock spring. bottom line is that is not in my budget. I say try the $35 one. install is a piece of cake. If it don't work, return as defective.

just a thought... did you remove your door/headlight chime? that box is also the delay box for the wipers, and when pulled, the wipers will only work on high...

does the warning buzzer/dinger work? leave the keys in the ignition with the door open, leave the headlights on, that sort of stuff should make the buzzer sound, if not, it could be your problem, i guess it could be the problem even if the buzzzer works, its down there by the steering coloum, under the dash
