HELP!! Bogging issue when accelerating
I need help! I have a 2000 Ram 1500 4x4 and it's missing, bucking, bogging and skipping when you try to accelerate. I only have the problem over 30%, 40% throttle. It has gradually gotten worst. I have changed the map sensor, TPS, PVC valve and I have removed the catalaytic converter. No change!! I had my mechanic change out the coil and crank sensor. No change! I'm at a loss and I am ready to sell the truck. Please help.

Not a cheapo, I usually replace it every 6 months. How do I check the fuel pressure, never done it on fuel injection. Being the miss is during acceleration only, fuel pressure loss has crossed my mine.

beg/borrow/rent/steal a fuel pressure gauge. There should be a shraeder valve on the fuel rail. (like a tire valve stem) Gauge screws onto that. If you can, hook it up, and position it where you can see it while driving. (Make DAMN sure it isn't leaking before you close the hood.... (don't ask me how I know that.) take it for a ride, and see what fuel pressure is doing when the symptoms present themselves. Drag along another warm body to watch that gauge, if you feel that might be necessary.
