No build sheet for me.
I contacted chrysler for my build sheet. It seems they are confidential! Because I am not the last owner of record with them, they will not give me the build sheet.
So... things to keep secret in the future... your SSN, check card PIN, and... your dodge ram build sheet!
When I finally get mine... I'm sending it right to North Korea... for a hefty price that is!

Here's what I got:
Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center.
Regarding vehicle build information you requested - we do not show you
as the current owner of this
vehicle and therefore cannot provide the information. We hope you
understand our position as this is a security measure we need to follow
for our customers.
If you are in fact the current owner, please reply to the link below
letting us know that you are verifying ownership and would like the
information to be updated in our system. We need the owner name, address
and telephone number, and current odometer reading. Please also provide
the date of purchase, the vehicle odometer reading at the time of sale,
and either the name of the selling dealer or that it was a private owner
transaction.
It is important to keep this database current so that we can keep you
up-to-date on recalls, customer satisfaction notifications and other
important information. You may again request original build information
at that time.
Thanks again for your email, have a great weekend!
Sincerely,

from a privacy standpoint - i agree with it.
just send them your info so you are registered in their owner records. who knows, they might send you a new dash..... NOT lol

Yeah, I tried doing that with the truck of my dad's friend, came back with the same bullsh1t.
We're like, "Well, how are you supposed to get accurate info about a truck you're looking at buying? DAMNIT"
Truck HAD been owned by the repo company...that may have had something to do with it...dunno.
Maybe in your case someones records weren't updated.

Drive the truck to a dealer and ask for the build sheet. They should be able to help you.
And you won't have to wait 2 weeks for it....

i walked into the dealer ship with the vin for my 91 written on a piece of paper and the lady printed out a build sheet after asking me a few question about the truck like what engine is in it and what color the interior is.
I really don't see what is so 'private' about what a truck came from the factory with.... Not like the information is going to be useful to you in any way, unless you are considering purchasing the truck..... When I got mine, all it had was information about the truck. Nothing at all on previous owners...... I am REAL curious what that is all about.
