Front axle needle bearing ???

Default Front axle needle bearing ???

i was replacing my axle seals and found that this bearing was shot not a big deal but i cannot find this part anywhere?!?! no one seems to know what im talking about i even called the local dodge dealership and they were baffled??

a link would be very helpful

I believe they have changed away from the needle bearings.

quad4x4.com offers both variations of that bearing, they are interchangeable

ok i found two different sizes at quad4x4 one for the dana 40 and one for the 60. now how do i figure out which one i have haha

my truck is a 98 1500 4x4

Half ton truck? Dana 44. 3/4 or 1 ton? Dana 60.

alright my buddy is telling me i have a 60 but my truck is a 1500 so i ordered the bearing for the 44. hope it fits

Unless someone has changed the axles on your truck, that will work great. A sure sign of an axle swap would be eight lug wheels.

the 44 bearing didn't fit, the inside diameter was to small so the axle wouldn't slide all the way through it? im really lost now and dont know what to do? any suggestions?
